Origin: Ujitawara
Our Hōjicha is cultivated by a family farm in Ujitawara that have been growing tea for over 120 years.
Hōjicha is made by roasting first or second flush sencha. Hōjicha provides a wonderful reddish-brown brew with a refreshing taste and rich and nutty aroma. It is low on caffeine and is less astringent, making it a perfect after-dinner tea.
焙茶茶葉來自一般淺蒸煎茶所遺留的葉莖,再經高溫煎炒及烘培而成,因此焙茶色澤呈咖啡色,而且香氣濃烈。焙茶茶葉中的咖啡因會因高溫烘焙而降低,因此咖啡因含量比一般煎茶低,身體對咖啡因反應較大,如容易失眠的愛茶人士,則較適合飲用焙茶。我們的綠茶由日本綠茶發祥地——宇治田原町的第三代茶農種植和製造,得到日本有機認證。
HOW TO SERVE
Take 4g of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) and brew with 120cc of boiling water. Infuse for 30 seconds and enjoy!
取4克茶葉(約1-2茶匙),加入大約200-300ml熱水,浸泡30秒後飲用。
